Nikki Beverly has always had a love for hair. Every since she was in the 6th grade she found herself doing anyones hair who would let her. She started off braiding then transitioned over into extensions and of course her greatest passion, custom wigs. Being unsure of her talents she chose to go to college instead of gaining her cosmetology license; after the influx of clientele she decided to go to cosmetology school. Being the best for her clients has led her into taking hair classes from some of the greatest hair stylists in the industry such as Kellon Deryck, Alonzo Arnold, Moni Bee, Evan Nicole, as well others. Nikki takes pride in learning new techniques in order to better serve all the clients she is blessed to have.
Crowned by Cali was founded in 2016 as Nikki began to brand herself as well as her work. It is founded on the basis that every woman no matter what walk of life they are from, what they have been through, or their age deserves to feel like a queen. As a child she used to go to the nail and hair salon with her mother where she observed the reactions of the women being serviced. She knew then that she wanted to make women feel good and what better way then looking good.
